Overdraft Protection

Bristol County Savings Bank offers overdraft protection for those customers who wish to protect themselves against unforeseen instances of returned deposited items or overdrafts. When your checking account does not have enough available funds to cover an item presented for payment, a transfer is made from your overdraft protection line into your checking account to cover the amount of the item.

Automated Sweep Services

Bristol County Savings Bank's automated sweep service transfers funds from your statement account to your checking account to help you avoid overdrafts or meet a minimum balance requirement.

Direct Deposit

Increase the availability to your checking or statement savings deposit funds by utilizing Direct Deposit with Bristol County Savings Bank. All deposits are made electronically and can include salary, pension, social security, and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

For Direct Deposit payroll, complete a Direct Deposit Form and present it to the appropriate contact at your place of employment (i.e.human resources or personnel) to assist in the set up process.

If you currently utilize Direct Deposit payroll with another checking account you own, and you would like to switch, complete our Authorization to Change Direct Deposit Form and return it to your place of employment, any Bristol County Savings Bank branch location or mail to Bristol County Savings Bank, Attention Customer Service, 29 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780

Safe Deposit Boxes*

Enjoy the security provided by Bristol County Savings Bank as you safeguard your personal papers and/or valuables in our fire resistant Safe Deposit Boxes. Please contact the branch location nearest you to inquire as to the availability of boxes.

Safe Deposit Boxes range from 3X5 inches to 10X10 inches in size. Prices do vary and boxes are not available at all locations.

Automated Transfer Notice

For your financial peace of mind, Bristol County Savings Bank offers automated consumer sweep services between your accounts. If you feel like you need a minimum balance in your checking account, just tell us and we can establish a sweep from another Bristol County Savings Bank account to ensure your primary checking account has your desired minimum balance. If you prefer to sweep excess primary checking account funds out to a savings or money market account you can automate that process as well.

Wire Transfers

Domestic

Need to get funds quickly and safely to a desired location? Why not wire those funds. Bristol County Savings Bank offers wire transfer services to financial institutions in the United States that are authorized to receive wire transfers through the Federal Reserve. You must provide adequate routing and transit information of the receiving financial institution in addition to beneficiary account information.

International

For wires to locations outside of the United States, Bristol County Savings Bank offers international wire transfer services in U.S dollars or another foreign denomination. Bristol County Savings Bank recommends you contact your beneficiary in the desired country and have them provide the specific wire instructions as their bank may require intermediary institutions to process incoming international wire transfers.

Telephone Transfers

BankLine, our 24 hour automated telephone service, allows users transfer capabilities between accounts. To enable this service, simply contact us to receive a BankLine Telephone Transfer Form.

Stop Payment

Have you issued a payment that you need to stop from being presented against your account? Due to the urgency of these requests, we suggest you call Customer Service at 508-828-5420 so we can place the stop on your account. You will need to provide us with a signed Stop Payment Request Form within 14 days of your verbal authorization.
