As Colder Temperatures Arrive, Bristol County Savings Bank Awards $22,000 Grant to Attleboro’s Saint Vincent De Paul Society to Support Its Fuel Assistance Efforts

TAUNTON, MA, October 23, 2019 — In partnership with the City of Attleboro and Mayor Paul Heroux, Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) awarded a $22,000 grant to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society in support of the organization’s fuel assistance efforts in the local community during a ceremony at Attleboro City Hall earlier this week.

Patrick J. Murray, Jr., President and CEO of the Bank, and Mayor Heroux presented the grant to the local charity.  “We make a substantial financial commitment to help fund non-profits in the greater Attleboro community each year and meet with Mayor Heroux to determine where our support could best make a difference,” said Murray.  “With the cooler temperatures we are all experiencing in mind, the timing is certainly right to have additional fuel assistance available to local households in need.”
