Bristol County Savings Bank Announces Begin Recipient of Bentley University’s Award for Graduate Academic Excellence

Begin, a Vice President/Investment Officer with the Bank’s Financial Advisory Services division based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, recently earned his Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) degree from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business in Waltham, Massachusetts and was awarded the Professor E. William Dandes Award for Graduate Academic Excellence at its commencement ceremony. Begin was recognized with the award for graduating with the highest grade point average.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner, Begin manages client portfolios, monitors investment performance and administers the investment offerings of the Bank’s Financial Advisory Services (FAS) division. He joined FAS, formerly Anawon Trust, in 2006 as an Assistant Vice President and was named Vice President in 2010. Previously, he held the positions of Senior Financial Advisor at StrategicPoint Investment Advisors, LLC in Providence, Rhode Island and Financial Planning Associate at Weston Financial Group in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Begin earned his bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Economics from Bryant University, Smithfield, Rhode Island. He resides in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
