Bristol County Savings Bank Named “Massachusetts Minority Lender of the Year” by SBA Massachusetts

 

SBA logoTAUNTON, MA, February 5, 2016 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) announces that it has been named “Massachusetts Minority Lender of the Year” by the Massachusetts District Office of the United States Small Business Administration. Of the eighteen banks considered for the award for SBA Massachusetts’ fiscal year 2015, Bristol County Savings Bank approved the highest percentage of its loans to minorities.

In fiscal 2015, the Massachusetts District Office of the United States Small Business Administration supported a total of 2,667 loans totaling $657 million through its 7(a) Loan Guaranty Program, Certified Development Company/504 Loan Program and Microloan Program.
