Bristol County Savings Bank Promotes Five to Senior Vice President/Commercial Lending

TAUNTON, MA, October 23, 2018 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), headquartered in Taunton, Massachusetts, announces the promotion of Hasan Ali, Roger A. Cabral, Paul Camille, Tim Chaves and Jeff Pagliuca to the position of Senior Vice President/Commercial Lending with each team leaders in the Rhode Island, Fall River, Attleboro, Taunton and New Bedford areas, respectively. In this capacity, they will be responsible for supervising their lending teams and developing and managing commercial loan and deposit relationships.

Hasan Ali will lead the Rhode Island team out of the Bank’s new Warwick Loan Office, located at 300 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 102. Prior to his promotion, he served as Vice President/Commercial Lending for the Bank. Previously, Ali held a number of positions with Santander Bank, N.A., including Market Manager/Team Leader – Business Banking in Boston, Massachusetts; Vice President/Relationship Manager – Business Banking, Providence, Rhode Island; and Small Business Relationship Manager, also in Providence. He also served as a Commercial Lender for Ocean Capital, a Division of Home Loan Investment Bank (HLIB) in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Involved in the community, Ali is a Board Member for the Ocean State Business Development Authority in Providence Rhode Island, as well as a past mentor at Foster Forward, East Providence, Rhode Island. He is also active at his alma mater, the University of Rhode Island and is a former member of the URI Young Alumni Council. Ali earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island and resides in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

Roger A. Cabral will manage the Fall River lending team from the Bank’s office at 215 Pleasant Street. Prior to being named Senior Vice President, Cabral held the title of Vice President/Commercial Lending covering the Fall River area for the Bank. Previously, he held similar positions with Sovereign Bank and Compass Bank in Fall River and New Bedford, Citizens Bank in Providence, Rhode Island and BayBank in Dedham, Massachusetts.

Cabral’s current professional and community activities include being a member of the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Acushnet, the District Treasurer for Rotary International District 7950 and a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Fall River. Cabral is also a Board Member for the Bristol County Chamber of Commerce and HealthFirst, both in Fall River. He earned a MBA from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island and his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Massachusetts University, Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Cabral resides in Acushnet, Massachusetts.

Paul Camille will oversee the Attleboro lending team from the Bank’s branch office at 130 Pleasant Street. Previously, he held the position of VP/Commercial Lending at the Bank. Prior to his tenure at BCSB, he served as VP/Commercial Loan Officer for both Bank of Boston and South Shore Bank in Fall River, Massachusetts and was an AVP/Commercial Loan Officer for Durfee Attleboro Bank in Fall River and a Commercial Loan Officer with Greater Providence Trust in Providence, Rhode Island. Active in the community, Camille is current Past President and a Board Member for The ARC of Bristol County, Attleboro, Massachusetts and the former Treasurer for Rotary Club of Attleboro. He earned a MBA from Providence College and his bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College, Providence. Camille resides in Riverside, Rhode Island.

Tim Chaves will continue to work out of the Main Office in Taunton at 35 Broadway. Previously, he served as Vice President/Commercial Lending, Assistant Vice President/Commercial Lending, Commercial Loan Officer and a Management Trainee at the Bank. Chaves was named 2015 Banker of the Year by the South Eastern Economic Development (SEED) Corporation and is currently a member of its Micro Loan Committee. He is also a Board Member of the Taunton Development Corporation and a member of the Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Golf Tournament Committee and The Risk Management Association – New England Chapter’s Young Professionals Group. Chaves earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with duel concentrations in Accounting and Finance from Boston University’s School of Management, Boston, Massachusetts. Chaves is also a graduate, with honors, from the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts and a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chaves resides in Boston.

Jeff Pagliuca will manage the New Bedford area lending team from the Bank’s downtown New Bedford office in the historic Candleworks building at 70 North Water Street. Prior to his promotion, he served as Vice President/Commercial Lending for the Bank. Previously, he held the positions of Senior Vice President, Business Banking with Webster Bank in New Bedford, Massachusetts and Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager at Santander USA, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Pagliuca currently is a Board Member and Vice Chair of Membership Development for the SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Loan Committee for the New Bedford Economic Development Council and is a Corporator of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts. Pagliuca is a licensed Massachusetts attorney. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from University of Massachusetts Law School in Dartmouth and his bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University, Worcester, Massachusetts. Pagliuca resides in Taunton, Massachusetts.
