Bristol County Savings Bank Promotes Three in Taunton

TAUNTON, MA, November 30, 2018 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB) has recently promoted Dawn Young, Bernadette Santos and Kristen Folloni at its Taunton, Massachusetts headquarters at 29 Broadway.

As vice president – lending operations, Dawn Young is responsible for conducting various department assessments and audits, implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, applying new technologies to enhance the origination effort of the lending team and training. Prior to her promotion, she served as a Lending Operations Manager for the Bank. Previously, Young held the position of Vice President of Residential Lending at BankFive in Fall River, Massachusetts. Active in the community, she is a Board Member at TRI, a member of the Fall River-New Bedford Housing Partnership and a former Board Member with The Salvation Army of Fall River. She received her MBA and bachelor’s degrees from UMass Dartmouth, North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. She also graduated from the National School of Banking of America’s Community Bankers (ACB). Young resides in Westport, Massachusetts.

Bernadette Santos’ new position as Assistant Vice President – Consumer Loans entails reviewing, underwriting and issuing credit decisions on installment loans and home equity requests. Prior to her promotion, she served the Bank in a number of capacities, including Consumer Loan Officer, Consumer Lender, Consumer Loan Trainee, Mortgage Underwriter, Senior Mortgage Clerk, Mortgage Processing Clerk and Assistant Head Teller.  Santos is a member of the United Regional Young Professional Organization (YPO) and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Banking Association School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. She received her associate’s degree in Business Administration from New England College of Business and Finance (NECB), Boston, Massachusetts. Santos resides in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Kristen Folloni’s responsibilities as Security Officer include investigating issues related to security and fraud and managing administrative services, including the mailroom, courier team and facilities. Prior to her promotion, she held the positions of Security and Fraud Investigator and Head Teller at the Bank’s North Raynham branch office. Folloni earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from UMass Boston and resides in Middleboro, Massachustts.
