Fireplace Feast at the Salem Cross Inn
Sunday, November 10th
Join Prime Time™ on Sunday, November 10th for an authentic Olde New England dining experience. Enjoy a Fireplace Feast of early American fare prepared for you on the open hearth of a massive, old fieldstone fireplace.
Relax with a drink by the fire or roll up your sleeves and lend a hand as your dinner is prepared colonial-style. Stir the chowder as it bubbles in a cast iron cauldron…watch your prime rib slowly roast over a crackling fire…help make the apple pie using an antique apple peeler and corer.
While your dinner is roasting to perfection, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon or sleigh ride through the pristine, 600 acre valley. When you return, you can shake off the chill with a warm mulled wine or apple cider and browse the Inn’s extensive collection of colonial and federal period American antiques.
This event is a must! Take a little bit of history, combine it with incredible colonial-style homemade food, throw in some fun in the company of friends and top it off with an amazing New England view for a unique experience you won’t soon forget.
