Majestic views of the Hudson River, historic mansions, cultural attractions, culinary adventures and natural scenic beauty! Join PRIME TIME™ as we relive history, appreciate the arts, explore the great outdoors and savor world-class cuisine and craft beverages right in the heart of Hudson Valley!

Day 1: On our first day in Hudson Valley, we’ll spend time in the Village of Millbrook. This quaint town is home to Wing’s Castle and Millbrook Vineyards and Winery. We’ll have free time in the village for lunch (on own) and shopping before taking a guided tour of the eclectic Wing’s Castle; which has been featured on HGTV’s Extreme Homes. Following our tour, we’ll enjoy an experiential tour of Millbrook Vineyards and sample their award-winning wines. Next, we’re off to Fishkill, NY where our accommodations are provided by the Springhill Suites by Marriott. A casual dinner at a local restaurant is included this evening. (D)

Day 2: After breakfast (incl.), we’re off to the Hyde Park area of New York. We’ll begin the day with a visit to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum – America’s first presidential library and the only presidential library used by a sitting president. Next, we’ll take a guided tour of FDR’s “Springwood” Estate. Located within the same complex, this is the birthplace of America’s 32nd President and the home where he hosted dignitaries from around the world. Later, there’s time for shopping and lunch (on own) in historic Rhinebeck followed by a guided tour of the Vanderbilt Mansion home to the grandson of “The Commodore” Cornelius Vanderbilt. This evening we’ll enjoy an outstanding dinner and tour at the Culinary Institute of America! CIA is America’s premier culinary college, where some of the brightest stars in the cooking world got their start such as: Anthony Bourdain, Anne Burrell, Todd English Amanda Freitag and Michael Simon. Day 3: After breakfast (incl.), we’ll depart for West Point Military Academy. A professional guide will provide a 90-minute combined bus and walking tour telling the story of West Point, its role in the Revolution, its famous history and stories of graduates who shaped our nation. We’ll make stops at the Cadet Chapel, the Plain and Trophy Point with the million dollar view overlooking the Hudson River. After the tour, there’s time for lunch (on your own) in the riverfront city of Newburg, NY. Later, we’ll visit Washington’s Headquarters and tour the rooms where American history was made. It was here that George Washington rejected the idea of an American monarchy, ended the Newburg Conspiracy and created the Badge of Military Merit (forerunner of the Purple Heart). This evening, we’ll enjoy dinner at a restaurant in the chic riverside city of Beacon, NY (incl.). (B, D)

Day 4: After breakfast (incl.), we’re off to Bethel Woods Center of the Arts as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock! Relive the summer of 1969 at the actual location where nearly 500,000 people joined together to celebrate peace and music! After our docent-led tour, we’ll enjoy lunch at the Dancing Cat Saloon followed by a tour of the Catskills Distillery. This distillery was the winner of the 2018 Drammie Award for the “Most Exciting/ Innovative Whiskey Producer/ Distillery”! Later, we’ll head over to the Walkway over the Hudson for an Ambassador Guided Tour of this historic park before we sit down for plated dinner at the Shadows on the Hudson. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Following breakfast (incl.), we’ll spend our last day in Hudson Valley at the stunning Mohonk Mountain House. This spectacular 265-room Victorian castle is tucked away at the top of Shawangunk Ridge. Built in 1869 over the deep blue waters of Lake Mohonk, this prestigous National Historic Landmark is a secluded, unspoiled resort of grace and charm nestled in the pristine wilderness. We’ll step through the centuries on a guided House History Tour through the manor’s parlors, salons, sitting rooms and more! After our tour and before heading home, we’ll step into their exclusive dining room for an elegant lunch buffet of modern American cuisine. (B, L)
