I Came, I Saw, I Concord. . .
A Historically Entertaining Tour of Lexington and Concord
Tuesday, September 10th
The date is April 19th, 1775 and it’s early morning in the sleepy village of Concord, MA. But just across the Old North Bridge; where groups of militiamen have begun to gather, things are really starting to heat up. For this is no ordinary spring day: the King’s mighty army is on the march and heading straight for Concord!
Join PRIME TIME™ on Tuesday, September 10th for a historically entertaining Tour of Lexington and Concord. This enthralling first-person narrative is told from the perspective of a Minuteman soldier as the events of that morning unfolded. Based on eyewitness accounts, letters and journal entries, our accomplished historian-reenactor will enthusiastically bring the past to life. From Paul Revere’s famous ride to the battles at Lexington Green and culminating at the Old North Bridge with the “shot heard ’round the world”, you’ll enjoy an exciting narration of America’s early history as you drive through it!*
Following the tour, we’ll enjoy a plated lunch at Concord’s Colonial Inn, where the “only thing better than the food is their rich history”! Constructed in 1716, this historic inn has been serving charm and hospitality for more than 300 years. Today’s meal choices are Chicken Pot Pie or Ritz Cracker Crusted Cod. Both are served with the chef’s choice potatoes, vegetables, and of course, Boston Crème Pie for dessert. Following dessert, there’s time to explore the quaint area of Monument Square.
