Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur publisher and lecturer. Well-known for his light-hearted and witty approach to life, he is best known for his famous masterpieces; The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
Join PRIME TIME™ on Thursday, September 6th as we travel to Hartford, CT to visit the place Mark Twain called home from 1874 – 1891. Although raised in Missouri, he said the years he spent in Connecticut were his happiest and most productive. Recently named as one of the “Ten Best Historic Homes in the World” by National Geographic, the Victorian home measures 11,500 square feet with 25 rooms distributed through three floors. Time Magazine refers to the home as “Downtown Abbey’s American Cousin”!
Following our house tour, we’ll enjoy lunch at the trendy Salute Restaurant in downtown Hartford. Today’s buffet features baked ziti Bolognese, grilled chicken and grilled salmon accompanied by salad and grilled vegetables. During our luncheon, Mark Twain (aka John Pogson) will mingle and entertain the group with his satirical sense of humor.
Don’t miss this event! In addition to the house tour, today, we’ll enjoy some playful wisdom from a man who refused to live life too seriously! Trip cost is $99 for Prime Time members and $109 for guests.

In the event that it becomes necessary to cancel your reservation we will make every effort to grant a full refund provided notification is received at least 21 days prior to the event. In some situations, certain non-refundable charges may be deducted from the amount of the refund.
