Immortalized in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby”, the Hamptons have long been the summer getaway for the rich and famous. Charming waterfront villages, world-class wineries and beautiful beaches are just a few of the many highlights of this magical place.

Day 1: This morning we will take the Cross Sound ferry from New London, CT to Orient Point. We’ll make a stop in the cozy, waterfront village of Greenport before we visit to a local winery; where we’ll enjoy a memorable tasting of some of the area’s most exclusive wines. Our accommodations for the next two evenings are at the Hyatt Place East End in Riverhead. This unique waterfront hotel is ideally located in the center of the charming town often referred to as the gateway to the Hamptons.  (D)

Day 2: Today, our local guide will bring us on a most interesting tour of the Hamptons. Explore the famed villages of South and East Hampton, home to such celebrities as Billy Joel, Matt Lauer, Steven Spielberg and Martha Stewart. We’ll make a stop at the world-famous Montauk Point Lighthouse and later visit charming Sag Harbor’s historic waterfront area amid Greek revival mansions and Victorian cottages.  (CB, D)

Day 3: After breakfast, we will depart for the Vanderbilt Mansion Museum. This remarkable 43-acre, 24 room waterfront estate is an enchanting time capsule of a vanished era. Later; we’ll backtrack toward the lovely seaport town of Port Jefferson before making our journey home.  (CB)

Cancellation Waiver available at $8.00 per day, per person.

Cancellation Policy: Up to 21 days prior – FULL REFUND; Within 21 days- 50% OF TOTAL PRICE IS FORFEITED; Within 7 days prior – NO REFUND

Cancellation Waiver: A cancellation waiver is available for purchase at $8.00 per day per person. The protection policy must be accompanied with the deposit. The waiver is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable and must be paid by each passenger. The purchase of the cancellation waiver will protect you from any cancellation fees should you need to cancel your reservations for any reason up to the day of departure. If Conway cancels or discontinues your trip for reasons of safety including the threat of terrorism, acts of God, epidemics, etc, Conway reserves the right to issue a credit for a future Conway vacation in lieu of a money back refund. Conway must receive notification of your cancellation prior to the scheduled departure of the tour. If prior notice is not received, a refund will not be issued. We accept the waiver only when you make the deposit except for reservations made within the final payment deadline; in which case, the purchase must be made with the final payment. The participant who purchases the cancellation waiver will be liable for single supplement charges that arise when a traveling companion cancels prior to departure or leaves the tour prematurely. The single supplement will be implemented for any cancellations with or without the purchase of the cancellation waiver. THERE IS NO REFUND FOR NO SHOWS.
