PRIME TIME™ Travel presents…

February 9, 2024

Join PRIME TIME™ on Friday, February 9th for an intimate dining experience as actor Kirk Simpson reprises the poignant role of America’s favorite poet in Robert Frost: Fire and Ice. Flowing from narrative to poetry, Simpson brings to life a literary legend with a remarkable dramatic reading that provides insight into the life of the famed writer and Pulitzer-prize winner, Robert Frost.

First tragedy, then poetry. Robert Frost had one of the most tragic lives of any American poet. His father died when he was a boy, two of his children died in childhood, his sister and a daughter were committed to mental institutions and his wife developed breast cancer, then later died of heart disease. His headstone touchingly reads “I had a lover’s quarrel with the world.” Despite these impediments, Frost is known as one of the most celebrated poets in America and considered the unofficial poet laureate of the United States.

The captivating performance will be held at the award-winning Clay Hill Farm in Ogunquit, Maine. Less than 2 hours away, Clay Hill has won many local, regional and national awards for food, ambience and service. Today, we’ll enjoy a scrumptious 3-course luncheon served in an elegant location.
