Michael Jackson, often referred to as the King of Pop, is recognized as one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Join PRIME TIME™ on Thursday, July 7th as we head to Boston to see MJ the Musical, the smash hit performance, and winner of four Tony Awards, based on Jackson’s life and music.

 

MJ the Musical is based on the stormy creation of Jackson’s legendary 1992 Dangerous World Tour. He and his collaborators are in the middle of rehearsals and things aren’t running smoothly. Through an interview with a reporter, MJ opens up about his difficult upbringing, being a child performer with his brothers in the Jackson 5, his rise to stardom and his relationships with his fans and the press. The show explores Jackson’s creative drive, signature moves and his childhood stardom, all while featuring more than 25 of his biggest hits.

 

Prior to the show, we’ll enjoy lunch overlooking the beautiful Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway at The Palm Restaurant in Boston. This upscale restaurant, with locations in Chicago, Las Vegas and New York City has been family owned since 1926. Following dessert, we’ll make our way to the lavish Citizens Bank Opera House for the 1pm performance of MJ the Musical. With seats located in the exclusive and coveted dress circle, we won’t miss any of Jackson’s signature moves.
