Bristol County Savings Bank Promotes Four to Officer Positions

TAUNTON, MA, May 3, 2016 — Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), headquartered in Taunton, Massachusetts, has promoted Thomas Keogh, Mark Moreira, Sharon Patton and Patrick Quinn to officer positions.

Tom KeoghAs Audit Manager, Thomas Keogh is responsible for directing the ongoing activities of the Audit Department. Most recently, he served as Senior Auditor and Staff Auditor at the Bank, for whom he has worked for more than thirty years starting with his first position as Teller. Keogh is a member of the Massachusetts Bank Internal Auditors (MBIA) and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southeastern Massachusetts University (now UMass Dartmouth), Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Keogh resides in Raynham, Massachusetts.

Mark MoreiraIn Mark Moreira’s new position as Secondary Market Officer, he is responsible for calculating and distributing mortgage rates, supervising the rate locks of residential mortgage loans, managing loan sale functions, making loan commitments with secondary market investors and delivering loan packages for sale. Previously, he served as Secondary Marketing/Investor Relations Manager for the Bank. Prior to his tenure at BCSB, he held the positions of Secondary Marketing Manager and Secondary Marketing Supervisor at Webster Bank and First Federal Savings Bank of America in Fall River and Swansea, Massachusetts. Moreira received his bachelor’s degree in business management from UMass Dartmouth and currently resides in Berkley, Massachusetts.

Sharon PattonSharon Patton is now the Prime Time Manager for the Bank, overseeing all activities relating to BCSB’s relationship product, Prime Time. One of the unique advantages of the program is Prime Time Travel, a value-added benefit offered to those customers with a balance portfolio of over $25,000.  Patton’s responsibilities include planning, organizing and arranging the details for all Prime Time Travel events.  In addition, she serves as Personal Banker to these Prime Time Travel members by acting as their liaison to all areas of the Bank.  Prior to her promotion, Patton held the positions of Bank At Work Coordinator, Assistant Branch Manager in the North Attleboro office and Customer Service Representative.

Patton serves on the allocations panel for United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton and volunteers at the St. Vincent de Paul Food Distribution Center in Taunton. She is also a Team Captain at the Credit For Life Fair in Attleboro each year. Patton is a graduate, with honors, from the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Patton resides in Berkley.

Patrick QuinnPatrick Quinn’s new position as BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) Officer entails maintaining compliance with the BSA and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and ensuring timely and accurate submission of required regulatory reports. Before his most recent promotion, he served as BSA/AML Analyst, Electronic Banking Services Associate, Contact Center Representative and Senior Teller for the Bank. Quinn has earned his Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification and is a member of the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS). He earned his master’s degree in business administration from New England College of Business and Finance, Boston, Massachusetts and his bachelor’s in accounting from Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Quinn resides in East Taunton, Massachusetts.
