This grand residence reflects the opulence of a bygone era when America’s elite built such estates as havens from city life. Join Prime Time™ on Wednesday, July 9th, for a unique living history tour that will transport you back in time.

 

It’s 1929, and you’ve just arrived at the impressive Great House at Castle Hill for a visit with your friends, the Crane family. You’re greeted at the grand entrance by the Crane family's attentive household staff and your immersive experience as a “Guest of the Cranes” begins. A guided tour through the lavishly appointed rooms showcases the luxury and modern conveniences at your disposal during your summertime visit to Ipswich. An invitation from the Crane family is a privilege and a highly coveted prize.  

 

Following this unique tour, we’ll enjoy lunch with a view at Riversbend Restaurant. Located along the Essex River, this farm-to-table restaurant offers stunning views of the Great Salt Marsh, the largest in New England.       

This tour through history is a time capsule experience.

Trip cost is $159 for PRIME TIME members ($179 for your guests) and includes:

  • Roundtrip transportation
  • Visit to Castle Hill on the Crane Estate
  • Guided tour of The Great House
  • Lunch at Riversbend Restaurant

Convenient departures from Attleboro, Franklin, New Bedford and Taunton (a minimum of 10 people is required for location pick-up).

In the event that it becomes necessary to cancel your reservation we will make every effort to grant a full refund provided notification is received at least 21 days prior to the event. In some situations, certain non-refundable charges may be deducted from the amount of the refund.
