Day 1: Welcome to Kennebunkport!
We begin our journey with an early morning departure, heading north along Maine’s scenic coast to our festive destination. Along the way, we’ll pause for a photo stop at the iconic Nubble Lighthouse in York—one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Next, enjoy a delicious lunch at the Bull ‘n Claw Restaurant, followed by a visit to St. Anthony Franciscan Friary, a peaceful retreat founded in 1947 by Lithuanian Franciscans. This serene property, with its shrines, chapels and catacombs, offers a unique sense of tranquility and reverence. After our guided tour, we’ll continue to The Kennebunkport Inn, our elegant home for the next two nights. Settle in, relax and get ready for a 3-day getaway filled with holiday joy!  (L,D)

Day 2: Kennebunkport’s Famous Christmas Prelude!
Imagine a Hallmark Christmas movie come to life—that’s Kennebunkport during its world-famous Christmas Prelude! Like a Norman Rockwell painting, the village captures the nostalgia and warmth of Christmas past. We’ll start the day aboard a heated trolley for a narrated sightseeing tour of the area. Highlights include Walker’s Point (the Bush family estate), Kennebunkport’s scenic beaches, and natural landmarks such as Spouting Rock and Blowing Cave. Along the way, our local guide will share insider tips for making the most of the Christmas Prelude festivities.

After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy free time to explore the boutiques and artisan shops, and take in the joyful atmosphere of the Christmas Prelude. Later, we’ll take a candlelight tour of White Columns, an elegant 1853 Greek Revival home, once belonging to the Perkins family. As night falls, the festivities continue in Dock Square, the heart of Kennebunkport’s holiday celebration complete with carolers, lights, and Christmas cheer everywhere you turn.  (B,L)

Day 3: The Spirit of the Season!
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Kennebunkport, but not to our holiday spirit! Our journey home includes a stop for a horse-drawn wagon ride to the North Pole!
