Step into a simpler time where dinner is cooked the old-fashioned way — over a roaring open hearth inside a massive 1700s fieldstone fireplace. Watch as juicy prime rib slowly turns on the only authentic Roasting Jack still operating in America, crackling away over fragrant wild cherry logs. The warmth, the aroma, and the glow of the fire create a truly magical New England experience.

While dinner roasts to perfection, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride through the Inn’s picturesque 600-acre valley (weather permitting), then return to browse the rooms filled with an impressive collection of early American antiques. 

Your hearty Fireplace Feast includes New England Chowder, open-hearth Prime Rib roasted to a turn, herb roasted potatoes and fresh Butternut Squash. And of course, warm apple pie topped with a generous dollop of freshly whipped cream.

In the event that it becomes necessary to cancel your reservation we will make every effort to grant a full refund provided notification is received at least 21 days prior to the event. In some situations, certain non-refundable charges may be deducted from the amount of the refund.
